Prior Approval Information & Instructions
Federal Election Commission (FEC) regulations require PowerPAC to obtain written permission from an authorized representative of a member company to solicit voluntary contributions from employees.
Under the FEC’s definition of what constitutes a solicitation, without prior approval, APPA cannot share information about PowerPAC and its activities, strategy, and events with you; that’s why it is so important that you sign it.
This authorization does not bind you, your utility, or your employees to any financial commitment; all it does is allow us to communicate freely with you about PowerPAC.
A corporation may not approve solicitations by more than one trade association in the same calendar year.

I hereby authorize solicitation by PowerPAC, the political action committee of the American Public Power Association (APPA) for the calendar years marked below. To the best of my knowledge, no such approval has been given to another trade association PAC for the calendar years marked below.
